Realme’s partnership with Smart Communications that started early 2020 has finally come to fruition as the company launches its first 5G phone in the country — the Realme X50 Pro 5G. By grabbing yourself one via Smart Postpaid plans, fans can experience the #SpeedOfTheFuture.
Available for pre-order until December 10, you can get an X50 Pro for one-time cash out of Php6,900 and a monthly fee of (Plan Signature M) Php1,899 for 24 months. It’s available for new and existing Smart subscribers and comes with free Realme Watch S.
The X50 Pro 5G also marks the first Realme device to grace Smart’s postpaid plans. At the core of the flagship device is the Snapdragon 865, paired with 12GB LPPDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0.
Another core feature is the 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate that goes along with the highly-sought Super AMOLED panel, making it a perfect pair for both gaming and content consumption. Realme also promises seamless 4G/5G network switching when you need it the most, all thanks to the 13 antennas that allow for 360-degree communication.
Despite launching globally last February, the X50 Pro now comes with realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It’s also one of the few devices with a dual-selfie setup, featuring a 32MP wide Sony IMX616 sensor and 8MP ultrawide. On the back of the device is a massive 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor that offers up to 20x hybrid zoom when combined with the 12MP telephoto lens. Lastly, you also get one of the fastest charging devices at 65W for FREE!
Realme Buds Air Pro was also announced during the event. It’s the company’s first TWS with active noise cancellation of up to 35dB, thanks to the new S1 chip. Some familiar features are returning, such as better 94ms low latency, 25hrs total playback, 10mm bass boost driver, and intelligent touch controls for controlling music (play/pause, skip), answering calls, and entering Gaming Mode. And through Transparency Mode, users can talk to the people around them for a clear and realistic ambient sound through the microphone while talking freely without taking off the earphones. The Buds Air Pro is priced at Php4,990.
Realme Watch S has also arrived with blood oxygen and heart rate monitors to boast. The body features IP68 water and dust resistance, alongside a 1.3″ auto-brightness screen. Speaking of, more than 100 watch faces are available to use and 16 sport modes. You can control music, calls, as well as your phone’s camera through the watch. While you can receive notifications through the watch, you can’t reply to them. The Watch S is also priced at Php4,990.
