realme introduced its latest feature, the Camera Control Button, which they claimed to have unveiled on August 14, almost a month before the iPhone 16. For reference, the Apple iPhone 16 series was announced on September 10, 2024.
Vice President and Global Marketing President Chase Xu provided a first look at the feature on social media, where he demonstrated its core functions.
The Camera Control Button offers users the ability to slide for focal length adjustments and press it as a shutter, aiming to simplify and enhance the mobile photography experience.
This latest addition reflects realme’s emphasis on user-friendly design, allowing for more precise control over camera settings. Its solid-state construction ensures smooth focus and exposure adjustments.
In addition to this, realme also presented new technologies at its recent event, including the 320W SuperSonic Charge, capable of fully charging a device in just under five minutes.
Other innovations introduced include an Anti-Reflective Smartphone Display, which improves outdoor visibility by reducing screen glare, and features powered by realme NEXT AI, such as AI Motion Picture and AI Gaming Super Resolution, enhancing imaging and gaming experiences.
