Realme X50 5G Is Coming Soon in the Philippines
As reported first by Yugatech, Realme is already planning on bringing its 5G smartphone in the Philippines. Of course, we’re talking about Realme X50 5G that launched last month in China. Eason de Guzman Jr, Realme Philippines’ Marketing Lead, shared “We are in close communication with local telcos in the Philippines, to get the certification of our devices meets the local 5G specifications. Even though realme is fairly a new player in 5G smartphones, we’re determined to make it more available to more Filipinos in the near future.”
Realme’s first 5G phone is expected to make an impact on the market, due to its value proposition. It features a 120Hz refresh rate, 64MP quad cameras, 4200mAh battery, and Android 10 with Realme UI out of the box. That said, we expect Xiaomi to counter with Redmi K30 5G. It nearly has the same specs as X50 but with 4500mAH battery and MIUI 11 that’s also based on the latest Android version.
