
realme launched the GT 7 Pro last year as the brand’s flagship smartphone. The brand has yet to reveal official information, but its successor — the realme GT 8 Pro — has now surfaced online, revealing its key specs.
According to famous tipster Digital Chat Station, the realme GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s next flagship processor — the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC. It will also come with a flat display with a 2K resolution.
It will reportedly feature a flat frame and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
While the exact number of cameras has not been mentioned, it will at least be equipped with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. In comparison, last year’s GT 7 Pro debuted with a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.
Moreover, the GT 8 Pro will reportedly pack a battery capacity of at least 7,000mAh with 100W fast charging support. The Chinese variant of the GT 7 Pro packed a 6,500mAh battery, while the Indian variant arrived with a 5,800mAh battery.
realme has yet to reveal official information about the realme GT 8 Pro, so take this information with a grain of salt.
