Many brands are now releasing new products and technologies at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona. Aside from the 150W UltraDart Charging tech, as scheduled, realme also unveiled its latest GT 2 series of smartphones globally.
To recap, the realme GT 2 series boasts a bio-based eco-friendly polymer smartphone back design, co-designed by award-winning designer and former MUJI collaborator Naoto Fukasawa. With this, the brand aims to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
For specs, the realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. It also features a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, the flagship realme GT 2 Pro boasts a flat 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz Adaptive refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 65W charging. Camera specs include a 50MP Sony IMX776 main camera with OIS, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL 150° ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP microscopic lens with 40x magnification. Upfront is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera.
