realme Philippines officially launches the latest addition to the C series lineup in the Philippines, the realme C100 series.
The realme C100 series consists of the realme C100 and the realme C100i smartphones. One of their main selling points is their massive battery capacity. The standard realme C100 packs an 8,000mAh battery capacity with 45W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging support that is claimed to charge from 0 to 50% in 46 minutes. It also supports 10W reverse charging, and a 7-Year Battery Health guarantee, promising to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after seven years of use.
Meanwhile, the realme C100i comes with a 7,000mAh battery capacity with 15W charging and 6W reverse charging capabilities. This model carries a 6-Year Battery Health certification. Battery life is rated for up to 53 hours of calls, 24 hours of WhatsApp usage, and 21 hours of YouTube playback on a single charge, according to realme.
In terms of durability, both devices come with MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance. The realme C100 also includes an IP69 Pro rating for dust and water resistance, while the C100i has an IP64 rating.
The realme C100 sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ (1570 x 720) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its display also supports up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1200nits peak brightness, and ArmorShell Glass protection.
Powering it inside is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G92 Max octa-core processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM (up to 24GB total RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion) and 256GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), while handling the temperature is a hyper cooling system.
Meanwhile, it is equipped with a 50MP main camera along with a flicker sensor. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera.
Other features include realme Next AI, a single downward-firing loudspeaker with 400% volume, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and color options such as Glory White, Endurance Brown, and Victory Purple.
The realme C100i, on the other hand, features a Unisoc T7250 chipset with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It sports the same 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate as its sibling.
It is equipped with an 8MP main sensor at the back and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. Available colors include Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray.
