realme has launched the realme Buds Air 8 in India alongside the realme Pad 3, realme 16 Pro Series 5G.
The realme Buds Air 8 features a dual-driver setup, comprising an 11mm woofer and a 6mm micro-plane tweeter.
The earbuds support up to 55dB active noise cancellation and include six microphones for AI-based noise reduction during calls.
In terms of design, the realme Buds Air 8 features the India-exclusive Nature-Touch Master Design, created in collaboration with designer Naoto Fukasawa. The charging case has a geometric shape with a bio-based organic silicone finish.
Audio features include Hi-Res Audio certification and support for LHDC 5.0, LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.
The earbuds also offer 3D spatial audio, dynamic sound tuning, and a low-latency mode with response times as low as 45ms.
The earbuds are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. They also support AI Voice Assistant 2.0 with Google Gemini, enabling voice commands and live translation features.
Each earbud has a 62mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 530mAh cell. realme claims up to 58 hours of total playback with ANC turned off. A 10-minute quick charge is said to provide up to 11 hours of listening time.
The realme Buds Air 8 is priced at INR 3,599 (approx. PHP2,399) in India. It will be officially available on January 16, 2025.
