Four Android smartphones with different screen brightness level, speaker volume and battery capacities, which do you think will last long in our actual, real battery test and comparison? Find out the answer below.
The Lenovo K80 has the most massive battery from the four with 4000mAh. Coming next is the Lenovo K3 Note and Asus Zenfone 2 with 3000mAh. Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has the smallest capacity of 2400mAh, but it is not an issue given its smaller screen size and resolution.
Only the Lenovo K3 Note and Asus Zenfone 2 offer user-replaceable battery, the other two has integrated, non-removable battery.
The test is just simple, we played a 2-hour HD movie with max volume and brightness on each device while on airplane mode. We should take note that there speaker and display output are different. The Xperia M4 Aqua has the brightest screen while it has also the loudest speaker too along with the Asus Zenfone 2.

We were surprised that Lenovo K80 was only 1% ahead over the Zenfone despite its larger battery capacity. Next after the Zenfone 2 was the Lenovo K3 Note with 73%. Coming last was the Xperia M4 Aqua with 67%. The M4 Aqua has the loudest speaker and brightest amongst the group.
The test was just focused on HD movie playback. Definitely, standby time, gaming and other areas will yield different results.
We will be publishing a more in-depth battery in near future. We are still working out some standard parameters we would use.
