Qualcomm has officially unveiled its 2025 Snapdragon G Series Gaming Platforms.
The new processors are Snapdragon G3 Gen 3, G2 Gen 2, and G1 Gen 2, which focus on improving performance, efficiency, and connectivity for portable gaming.
Snapdragon G3 Gen 3
The Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 supports Unreal Engine 5’s Lumen technology for enhanced lighting and reflections.
It offers a 30% faster CPU and a 28% GPU boost compared to its predecessor, along with Wi-Fi 7 support for lower latency and better connectivity.
Snapdragon G2 Gen 2
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 targets high-performance gaming and cloud streaming, delivering up to 144FPS gameplay.
It features a 2.3x faster CPU and a 3.8x GPU boost over the previous generation. Just like the G3 Gen 3, it offers a Wi-Fi 7 connection.
Snapdragon G1 Gen 2
Lastly, the entry-level Snapdragon G1 Gen 2 is designed for 1080p cloud gaming at 120FPS. It offers an 80% CPU improvement and a 25% GPU boost.
Devices powered by the new 2025 Snapdragon G Series chips are expected to launch soon.
