Recent reports suggest that a new Snapdragon 845-powered Windows 10 on ARM devices are expected to arrive. It was even spotted on a Geekbench listing which is clocked higher than the 845. Now, new reports say that it might be the Snapdragon 850.
As per Winfuture.de, the company will be releasing the Snapdragon 850 earlier than expected. However, this new chipset is only clocked higher than the SD845. It will also arrive with an X20 modem and offer Gigabit LTE.
Winfuture.de also got an info regarding the devices that will arrive with the new Qualcomm chipset. Lenovo is working on a new device with the codename ELZE1. HP is also working on its new Chimera 2 that might be powered by the 850 chipset. Aside from those, Dell has been reported creating a Windows 10 on ARM device.
According to the documents gathered by Winfuture.de, the chipset might arrive this summer but will go on sale during the autumn or winter season.
