
Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops.
According to Qualcomm, the chip supports everyday tasks such as web browsing, video streaming, productivity work, and video calls.
Snapdragon C features an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) for AI-related tasks.
Qualcomm also says the platform is designed to provide long battery life with cool and quiet operation.
As for the availability, devices powered by the Snapdragon C are expected to be released later this year. Manufacturers expected to use the platform include Acer, HP, and Lenovo.
