realme is officially announcing the Neo 8 this January in China.
According to leaks and rumours, the brand has revealed possible colour options in Origin White, Mecha Gray, and Cyber Purple, featuring a glass back, metal middle frame, and RGB lighting similar to the realme GT Neo 5.
The device is said to feature a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Camera-wise, rumours suggest a 16MP front camera, and at the back, a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main (OIS) camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Other rumoured features include an 8,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging, dual speakers, an IR blaster, NFC, IP68/69 dust and water resistance, and realme UI 7 based on Android 16.

The realme Neo 8 will launch on January 22, 2026, in China.
