PUBG MOBILE LIGHT Coming Soon, Pre-Registration Starts August 25

PUBG Mobile is getting a lighter version called PUBG Mobile Light.

According to Rick Li, producer of PUBG Mobile, the new app will retain the core PUBG Mobile experience, including the Erangel map, supplies, and core combat.

The initial download will be around 1GB on Android and 2GB on iOS. Players will not need to download an additional mandatory package before their first match. Instead, they can choose which extra modules to install.

Existing PUBG Mobile players can also use their current accounts to log in to PUBG Mobile Light. Owned items, including outfits, will remain available.

Players using PUBG Mobile Light can also play with friends who are using the regular PUBG MOBILE app. Updates for the lighter version will also be released alongside PUBG MOBILE updates.

PUBG MOBILE LIGHT Launch

PUBG Mobile Light is expected to officially launch later this year, with pre-registration starting on August 25 through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
