POCO X2 Gets Pictured Ahead of Release, Looks Like Redmi K30

Live Pictures of POCO X2 Surface; Just a Rebranded Redmi K30?

We’re a few days away from the official launch of POCO X2. It’s expected to shake the mid-range market once again as it’s an upcoming device with great value for money. And while the hype is at its all-time high, leaks regarding the device are expected to come. This time, we have live pictures of the X2 revealing a pill-shaped selfie camera, Snapdragon 7150 SoC (730G) and slim bezels. If those specs sound familiar, that’s because it’s the Redmi K30 that was announced back in December.

In a separate report, coming from posters, full renders of POCO X2 were revealed. It shows the same dual-selfie camera and the multi-camera setup on the back featuring a rounded outline. While it’s hard not to see the similarities of the two devices, some fans pointed out that the X2 will only use three main cameras as opposed to the quad cameras of Redmi K30. Regardless, the price of X2 for the 6GB/64GB model is said to be Rs 18,999 or ~P13,500 when converted.

That said, the only confirmed specs as revealed by POCO India are 120Hz refresh rate, fast charging, gaming SoC, 64MP main camera, and liquid-cooling technology. We should know more once POCO X2 launches on February 4th.
