The PlayStation VR2 headset’s pricing and debut date have finally been revealed by Sony, ending the wait. Pre-orders begin in a couple of weeks, but the product won’t be on sale until February 22 of next year.
The $550/€600/£530/75,000 PSVR2 is more expensive than the $400 original. Even with the price increase (to $400), it will be more expensive than the Meta Quest 2. The VR headgear itself, two VR2 Sense controllers, and stereo headphones are all included in this base bundle.
For $50/€50/£40/5,500, you can also get a charging station for the controllers. Another option is the Horizon Call of the Mountain combo, which comes with a game coupon.
The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, Crossfire: Sierra Squad, The Light Brigade, Cities VR – Enhanced Edition, Cosmonious High, Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection, Pistol Whip VR, Zenith: The Last City, After The Fall, and Tentacular are just a few of the 11 new games Sony has announced for the PlayStation VR2.
Regarding the PSVR2, Only the official direct.playstation.com store in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg will sell the headset to customers. Pre-orders will start on November 15.
