Sony INZONE H6 Air Announced in PH

Sony has announced a new gaming headset for the local market, called the INZONE H6 Air.

Design-wise, the H6 Air uses an open-back design, which means the earcups are not fully sealed.

According to Sony, this helps create a wider, more natural sound, similar to how audio is heard in real space.

Additionally, the brand claims that this reduces internal echo and improves accuracy, especially in games with detailed sound environments.

The headset has custom drivers based on technology from the MDR-MV1.

It also includes built-in “back ducts” that aim to improve bass while keeping other sounds clear and separated.

Sony also shared that this is their lightest gaming headset so far at 199 grams.

It uses a flexible headband design for comfort during long use.

The headset also includes a detachable cardioid microphone, designed to focus on the user’s voice and reduce background noise.

It also supports virtual 7.1 surround sound and Sony’s “360 Spatial Sound for Gaming” when used with the INZONE Hub software.

Sony says the headset was developed with input from PlayStation Studios, including a preset audio mode for RPG and adventure games.

Sony INZONE H6 Air Availability

The Sony INZONE H6 Air will be available starting May 15, 2026, through selected Sony retailers.
