A week after OPPO’s VP revealed the official look of its upcoming phone, the company has finally set a launch date for the Reno3 and Reno 3 Pro — both powered by 5G. The duo will go official on December 26 in China. Aside from 5G, the main features include pinhole selfie camera and quad-rear cameras.

Reno3 Series will introduce the revamped ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. The improved skin delivers cleaner UI design, faster performance, and a pre-installed video editor. As for the devices themselves, both will be sporting gradient hue design with top-left positioned quad-camera arrays that remind us of Huawei P30 Pro. The standard model will use a teardrop notch for the display, while the pro model makes do with a pinhole selfie camera (also on the top-left corner). OPPO is boasting the slim 7.7mm body of Reno3 Pro 5G, saying that it’s the thinnest at its price point. Spec-wise, it will be powered by the new Snapdragon 765G with 4025mAh battery in tow.
According to TENAA, the specs further include 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 6.5″ FHD+ AMOLED display features a fingerprint scanner underneath. For the complete camera setup, the front cam uses a 32MP lens while the back consists of 48MP, 13MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth.
