OPPO made official today in China the launch of its first tablet, which is part of the Asian company’s efforts to expand its operations beyond the borders of the smartphone segment, also conquering the tablet market with a focus on productivity and rivaling giants including Samsung and Apple.
Confirming previous rumors about its screen, the OPPO Pad has a huge 11-inch IPS LCD display, QHD+ resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), 16:10 aspect ratio and 120 Hz refresh rate, a set that is one of the main highlights of the device.
The rear is simple and doesn’t have many details, with only the 13MP main camera capable of recording videos with Full HD resolution (1080p) at 30 fps, showing that despite not being the focus of the product, the tablet can capture good images; the front sensor is ultrawide with an angle of 115º and has 8MP.
The internal hardware is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor — in line with the Adreno 650 GPU and up to 8 GB of RAM.
Connectivity supports Bluetooth 5.1 and Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), but in this device, there is no compatibility with 5G mobile networks. Other highlights are the battery with 8,360 mAh capacity with 33W fast charging in USB Type-C format and the stereo speakers certified by Dolby Atmos.
