OPPO’s possible upcoming new device has recently been leaked and by the looks of things, they’re looking to keep things closer to their enemies. Find out why whats up on the upcoming OPPO device and why are things closer to their competition.
With the leaked photos of the said upcoming OPPO device, they’re device were seen to be heavily reminiscent of the iPhone, with the metallic unibody, though honestly, metallic unibody in smartphones have become quite common now and iPhone’s exact metallic construction has become the norm of the industry, just ask HTC. At the back side of the soon-to-be-introduced OPPO, the rather iPhone-like device even has the same rear shooter positioning as of the iPhone, making the upcoming OPPO, looking to be as close to iPhone as it can be, (that gold colour is way too much iPhone-like).
On the leaked image, we can clearly see the speaker on the bottom part of the device, a 3.5mm jack and a charging port, all positioned similar to the iPhone. We’re not exactly sure if there is some kind of deal or whatever that this companies had with Apple (seeing that Apple hasn’t sued them yet or whatever), but seeing more than one device in a matter of months to showcase the overall design and feature positioning of Apple’s iPhone is a bit weary to see. Truth be told, we can’t argue, how heavily popular Apple’s unibody design is, heck, LG might even enter the playing field of the metallic construction with their upcoming G5 flagship, so, we can’t argue that this design is popular, however, it saddens us that some manufacturers would rather keep up with a trend of design, rather than be bold enough to try a newer design, for whatevers worth, hopefully, we see some pioneers in the future.
