Today, we’re taking a closer look at one of OPPO’s latest flagship smartphones, the OPPO Find X8.

The OPPO Find X8’s design feels premium yet simple. Our review unit comes in black, featuring a frosted back panel with a textured finish. Its single-color design adds a touch of elegance.
Weighing 193g, the device feels lighter than expected when held and offers a comfortable grip, thanks to its smooth frame. On the right side, you’ll find the power and volume buttons, while the top houses a speaker and IR blaster. The bottom has the USB-C port, SIM tray, and another speaker grille. A handy silent mode switch is on the left.
Overall, its design strikes a balance between minimalism and durability, reflecting what you’d expect from a flagship.
The OPPO Find X8 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1256×2760. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 4500 nits, outdoor usage isn’t an issue.
The display delivers sharp and vibrant visuals, making it a great choice for watching videos or scrolling through apps. Thin bezels enhance the viewing experience, and the 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth navigation.
The phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup: 50MP main, 50MP periscope, and 50MP ultrawide lenses. There’s also a 32MP front camera for selfies.
The rear cameras deliver sharp, detailed images with vibrant colors and a wide dynamic range. However, shadows can sometimes be too deep.
For selfies, the beautification mode is on by default, but turning it off provides more natural-looking results. Highlights can occasionally be slightly blown out but aren’t too noticeable.
Both the front and rear cameras support video recording up to 4K@30FPS, providing detailed and stable videos.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find X8 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM (with an additional 12GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It operates on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.
Performance-wise, the device handles multitasking smoothly and runs demanding games without issues.
We tested it with Zenless Zone Zero, and there were no frame drops or stutters during gameplay.
The OPPO Find X8 packs a 5630mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It lasted 21 hours and 12 minutes during our video loop test, which is impressive for a flagship.
Charging from 0% to 100% took just 37 minutes, making it convenient for users on the go.
Priced at PHP54,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration, the OPPO Find X8 offers a premium experience with its design, cameras, and performance. While it comes with a flagship price, it delivers features that justify the cost.
