OPPO‘s upcoming flagship smartphone called the Find X5 Pro has surfaced online with its design and specs. The smartphone is said to be accompanied by the Find X5 and Find X5 Lite, making it a smartphone series. They are expected to launch in February.
The alleged OPPO Find X5 Pro above shows its rear and front design with a curve-edged display. On the rear side of the smartphone, it features its camera bump with “powered by MariSilicion” text found between the two sensors. There’s also the Hasselblad branding found at the bottom right corner of the device.
MariSilicon X is the name of OPPO’s own NPU that was revealed during INNO DAY 2021. It aims to improve the quality of photos and videos as well as further expand the feature set of the cameras. Hasselblad’s involvement comes after its OnePlus partnership that was announced last year. It’s not clear yet if the other smartphones in the series will benefit from the new NPU or just the Pro model.
For specs, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is rumored to sport an AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with 2k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary and secondary camera with OIS support, and a 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 tertiary sensor. Upfront is a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is expected to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging, and ColorOS 12.1 for OS.
The vanilla OPPO Find X5, on the other hand, is rumored to equip MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset. Other details and information about these smartphones are yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for more updates.
