Oppo is gearing up to reveal its latest foldable smartphone, the OPPO Find N3, in China on October 19. Prior to the official launch, the company has confirmed a notable feature of this upcoming flagship—the inclusion of a dedicated security chip to elevate the device’s security measures.
Described by Oppo Chief Product Officer Liu Zuohu, this advanced security feature is meticulously crafted to provide users with heightened privacy and a sense of security. With a simple button press, users can effortlessly access a secluded, private space aptly named the “Isolated Island.”
This feature operates at the hardware level, ensuring the protection of personal and business data, aligning with values such as relaxation, courtesy, peace of mind, and freedom. OPPO has also released a promotional video emphasizing the enhanced security capabilities of the N3.

The Oppo Find N3 foldable smartphone is anticipated to be available in two versions:
Reports suggest that the N3 will sport a 7.82-inch foldable AMOLED screen with 2K resolution on the inside, accompanied by a 6.31-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the outside.
Both screens support an impressive 120Hz refresh rate and boast high pixel density. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, running at 3.36GHz, and will offer 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM combined with 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of the camera setup, the Find N3 is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera, a 20-megapixel internal camera, and a triple camera unit at the back, comprising a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel periscope camera.
The device will be equipped with a 4,800mAh battery, supporting 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Collector’s Edition may offer an enhanced 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
It’s worth noting that the OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3 essentially represent the same foldable screen phone, with the Find N3 catering to the domestic market and the OnePlus Open targeting international markets.
