After the pre-order period of OPPO’s latest handset, the OPPO F9, thousands of customers have taken opportunity to claim their new smartphone in various stores nationwide. This weekend, September 1-2, smartphone users can see what the F9 is all about during OPPO’s roadshow at SM Mall of Asia.
“We are grateful to all who pre-ordered our new OPPO F9, and we’re confident that our customers will surely love it, especially the VOOC Flash Charging because of its amazing charging speed. The F9 will be a trendsetter for the new standard Filipinos’ mobile lifestyle,” OPPO Philippines’ Vice President of Marketing Jane Wan said. “The OPPO F9 is our latest innovation for our Filipino consumers and will address their needs in battery, performance, camera, and even design.”
As mentioned in our previous articles, the OPPO F9 features a 6.3″ FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In addition, it is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The device is powered by the Helio P60 along with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.0 GHz. It arrived with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
The device’s main highlight is its VOOC Flash Charge which is mentioned to be 4x faster than the 5VA charging. Furthermore, OPPO stated that the battery has a five-layer protection that makes sure the battery won’t get damaged by the Flash Charge. Additionally, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and ColorOS 5.2.
The OPPO F9 is now available in three colors – Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple. It is priced at PHP 17,990.
