The collaboration with Hasselblad signifies a strategic move to merge classic imaging aesthetics with cutting-edge mobile technology. In 2024, they plan to launch the next-gen HyperTone Camera Systems, setting new industry standards.

Hasselblad’s Global Marketing Manager, Bronius Rudnickas, emphasized the collaboration’s depth, stating it goes beyond mere style inheritance. The integration of aesthetics and technology between both brands is expected to elevate image quality and stylized experiences for photography enthusiasts, promising an extraordinary outcome.

With OPPO pioneering a revolution in mobile imaging by prioritizing aesthetics over industry traditions, they’re leading the way in computational photography. The Photography Aesthetics Feature Quantification Lab, comprising technicians, professional photographers, and color experts, underscores OPPO’s commitment to combining objective technical processes with subjective user aesthetics.

The HyperTone Camera System, consisting of the All Main Camera System, HyperTone Image Engine, and HyperTone ProXDR Display, is designed to deliver end-to-end system-level imaging capabilities. Notably, the HyperTone Camera System’s technical architecture will extend its influence beyond the Find series, empowering multiple OPPO product series with flagship imaging experiences.OPPO and Hasselblad

The unique features of the HyperTone Camera System include the industry-first All Main Camera System, offering high image quality across all focal lengths day or night. The HyperTone Image Engine addresses traditional computational photography issues, enhancing clarity by 30% and reducing noise by 60% with the Extra HD Algorithm.

As a crucial part of the imaging experience, the HyperTone ProXDR Display, with ProXDR technology, unlocks up to eight times more dynamic range on-screen. This innovation precisely records the brightness of 12 million pixels, enhancing photo viewing realism.

In the realm of computational photography, Hasselblad’s Portrait Mode stands out. Following aesthetics, this mode introduces delicate tonal changes, creating three-dimensional portraits without excessive brightening. With optimizations for 45 skin tone colors and Bokeh Flare Portrait, users can achieve a cinematic bokeh effect.

As the collaboration evolves, the results will be shared in 2024, promising enhanced image quality and stylized experiences for photography enthusiasts.
