Ookla: Globe is PH’s Most Reliable Network in Q3

Globe is PH’s Most Reliable Network in Q3

Based on an analysis of Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data, Globe said to be the most reliable network in the Philippines in the third quarter of 2022.

The report says that Globe’s All Technology Consistency was 82.55 and All Technology Availability 92.03.

The Consistency Score is based on how many of a provider’s data samples meet the minimum download speed of 5 Mbps and the minimum upload speed of 1 Mbps. In this category, Smart got a score of 80.82, and DITO got a score of 70.40.

On the other hand, availability is based on coverage scans done on Android devices and shows which network users spend the most time using all types of technology. Globe came out on top again, this time against 90.69 and 90.68.

Reliability is a hard-to-get rating in the industry, and only a tiny number of telcos from around the world have it. It is also the most-wanted aspect of network performance that affects how customers feel.

Ookla’s latest data is proof of Globe’s commitment to delivering the most reliable mobile connectivity to its customers across the Philippines, which goes beyond just speed. Only a few mobile operators in the world have managed to attain supremacy in both consistency and availability, which translates to best-in-class experience for our customers,” — Darius Delgado, Head of Globe’s Consumer Mobile Business.
