OnePlus X is official announced by Oneplus via twitter and things are looking up for this not-replacement-for-Oneplus 2 device. The latter has a few new things on its sleeves, such as its ceramic variant, which will be exclusive and would only be at 10,000 handsets. Although, their Onyx variant or normal variant is expected to launch globally. Lets find out more about OnePlus’ upcoming flagship killer on the rise, the OnePlus X.

The OnePlus X has a 5-inch 1080p FHD display in its front, backed by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 for its internals. The latter is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, while for graphics, the OnePlus X has an Adreno 330 GPU within it. 3GB of RAM powers up the device, which is highly impressive, truth be told, while it is backed up by 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expandability limit of 128GB.

For shooters, the device carries a pretty standard 13MP rear shooter, which sadly doesn’t have a 4K UHD recorder, while being backed up by an 8MP selfie shooter. The OnePlus X runs at an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, while being supported by an Oxygen OS, which will also carry a 2525mAh battery on its back. The OnePlus X’s two variants of Ceramic and Onyx are quite a surprise to be honest, and the thought of the Ceramic back variant only being limited to a few people actually brings the specialty of the device, which was similarly done by OnePlus on their OnePlus 2 device.

The OnePlus X is no replacement to their main flagship killer, though it maybe something to be considered a “flagship killer in the making”. The OnePlus X is expected to be launched on December, however, the ceramic version will be available on November 24th, which will be highly exclusively for OnePlus X invite receivers, with a price of 269 British pounds or roughly Php 19K in converted PH price, while the Onyx version, which to be launched on December is expected to be priced at 199 British pounds or Php 14K in converted PH price.
