OnePlus will reportedly release a new smartphone under the Nord 2 series and will be called the OnePlus Nord 2T.
Ahead of its imminent unveiling, leaks have surfaced online, thanks to tipster Yogesh Brar, revealing the press render of the smartphone.
Based on the leaked render, the OnePlus Nord 2T will feature a different camera module design compared to other OnePlus phones. Another leaked render of the device shows a sandstone finish on the back. For the display, it is rumored to sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it will allegedly come with a 3GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor, paired with an ARM G77 MC9 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Camera-wise, the OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to use a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP monochrome lens, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera.
Other rumored features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, Dolby Audio support, Hi-Res Audio support, Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is expected to launch in late April or May.
