OnePlus 3T is now official
After the successful release of the OnePlus 3 back in June, the company released another variant of OnePlus, let us welcome the OnePlus 3T.
As for the meaning of the ‘T’, OnePlus said: “We went with ‘T’ because a lot of other companies go with ‘S,’ and since we are OnePlus we decided to go with the next letter, read one more“.
The OnePlus 3T is basically the upgraded version of the OnePlus 3. The design and display are still the same at 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 built in an aluminum unibody. Additionally, the rear camera is covered with sapphire glass for extra drop and scratch protection.
Snapdragon 820 to Snapdragon 821
It now packs a Snapdragon 821 2.35GHz quad-core processor(previously Snapdragon 820), Adreno 530 GPU, paired with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.0.
16MP selfie camera
The flagship device is equipped with 16MP rear camera Sony IMX 298 sensor with the support of OIS and improved EIS for capturing videos. The selfie camera is upgraded from 8MP to 16MP with an improved low-light shooting.
3300mAh to 3400mAh battery
The device runs under Android Marshmallow 6.0 with OxygenOS 3.5 that includes new features inspired by Nougat and a 3400mAh battery that adds 13 percent more juice, coming from 3300mAh.
Note: Android Nougat update will arrive in both devices(OnePlus 3 & 3T) very soon.
OnePlus 3T is available in gunmetal dark gray and soft gold colors with a price of $439 or P21.5k Philippine peso for 64GB variant and $479 or P23.5k Philippine peso for 128GB variant(before taxes).
It will retail on November 22 in the US and November 28 in Europe but we will let you know once it lands in other countries.
