
Apart from the normal smartphones, nubia also introduced its first clamshell-type foldable smartphone at MWC 2024 held in Barcelona, Spain – the nubia Flip 5G.
It is a rebranded ZTE Flip Libero featuring a 6.9-inch AMOLED main internal display with 2790 x 1180 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s also an external display sporting a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel with 466 × 466 resolution.
According to the brand, the nubia Flip 5G can hold out against up to 200,000 folds, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Flip.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno 644 GPU paired with 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
The battery is rated at 4,310mAh with 33W fast charging.
Camera-wise, it has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. While upfront, it comes with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Pricing and Availability
The nubia Flip 5G is priced at USD 599 (~PHP 33,560) which is much less than other foldable smartphones. It will go global soon.
