NOW Telecom offers 2 Gbps internet speed via 5G

Now Telecom to offer 2Gbps internet via 5G to business enterprises

NOW Telecom the subsidiary of NOW Corporation which operates Broadband and Cable TV Network will start to offer 5G network services to its enterprise customers with up to 2 Gbps high-speed internet. This on top of the planned 10 Gbps internet speed rollout that will happen over the coming years.

There is no word yet if NOW telecom will also offer their 5G broadband offering to home consumers in the near future.

Last year, NOW Telecom has partnered with South Korean SK-Telecom in planning and designing the 5G infrastructure in the Philippines while the Now Corp. subsidiary Philippine Fiber Optic Cable Network signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore’s HyalRoute Group for the expansion of fiber network.

NOW telco company that has been given with a 25-year franchise in 2018 by the congress while the 3rd major telco, Dito Telecommunity, has been recently granted by another 25-year term.

In other news, Converge ICT, the broadband provider will start to roll out its 500 Mbps to more homes in the country as it started to expand their networks to more islands.
