The joke product is a wired pair of earbuds with a massive 50-meter cable and a 3.5mm headphone jack, described as “beautifully inconvenient.”
At first, I thought it was a new product launch, forgetting it was April Fools’ Day.
Some comments reacted similarly and even asked if the wired earbuds were real. Others joked that the product better be an April Fool’s prank.
Some found it interesting, while others playfully asked if it was just 50 meters.
The earbuds are styled like the Ear (Open), which launched in 2024, and it kept the signature transparent design but took a step back from wireless technology.
Though a joke, it sparked talks about new smartphones removing headphone jacks, and completely forgetting about wired audio.
