Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 rumored to pack high-end specs
While we patiently wait for the top tier Nokia smartphones from HMD Global, Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 rumor has surfaced hinting of a high-end spec duo.
Apparently, Nokia 8 might not be the flagship line of HMD Global which makes a push to another higher number – the Nokia 9.
If rumors proved to be accurate enough, then Nokia 9 could pack the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset that has been long rumored on the Nokia 8.

Moreover, Nokia 8 could sport a QHD screen at a larger size compared to the 1080p resolution of the Nokia 7. Both might run on the unannounced Snapdragon 660 chipset – the possible successor to the Snapdragon 653.
Design-wise, expect thinner bezels and a new metal unibody design. What could be new? We still don’t know but it’s nice to see a little innovation from the common unibody smartphones of today.
As it belongs in the top tier, fingerprint scanner and fast charging features will be present and a possible Zeiss module could land the Nokia 8.
Nokia 7, 8 and 9 might get announced sometime in May or June, though, HMD Global has yet to comment on the matter.
