The latest Nokia 1 comes in a box with the nostalgic image of a child holding onto an adult person’s finger. Now going back inside the box, it contains the 4.5″ Nokia 1 device with a quick guide on using the smartphone.

On the next layer, you’ll find the smartphone’s essentials such as the headset, its battery, Nokia Micro USB charger, along with the charging adapter.

Design

The Nokia 1 brings back their polycarbonate Xpress-on cover which is changeable with a wide selection of covers. Aside from that, there’s nothing really special about the design. It’s just like any other basic Android smartphone.

Flipping the phone, we’ll see the rear camera that houses the 5-megapixel camera lens with an LED flash. At the center, you’ll find the company brand logo and at the bottom, the speaker.

As for the physical buttons, the volume rockers and the power button is located on the right side of the phone. The audio jack is located at the top whereas the USB 2.0 charging port can be found at the bottom.

Display

The Nokia 1 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display which delivers a decent visual experience. It has a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Just a reminder that it is a low-end smartphone so we shouldn’t expect much on the display’s quality. Nonetheless, it still is a good phone that can provide you with a nice experience for social media browsing.

Camera

The Nokia 1 is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Here are some of the camera samples:
