A few months ago, Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi Note 3 in the Philippine market, wherein many PH smartphone users we’re heavily tempted to have one, thanks to it’s affordable yet powerful specs in hand. However, it seems that a new Redmi Note 3 is just in the horizon and is packing a few new things for those who missed out the original Redmi Note 3.

The main difference on this newer Redmi Note 3 lies within its chipset, the original MediaTek Helio X10 is now replaced by a Snapdragon 615 chip, with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexacore CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, an integrated X8 LTE with a whopping Cat 7 boost speed and supports VoLTE.
Another drastic change is primarily focused on the main shooter, with the original 13MP rear shooter getting a well-deserved upgrade of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection feature.
Other specs remained intact, with the new Redmi Note 3 receiving a price tag of $151 or roughly Php7K for the 16GB variant while the 32GB variant’s price is yet to be announced.
