The standard Surface laptop carries an Intel Core i5 or i7 CPU depending on the configuration, the cheaper edition will come with Intel Core M3. Also, this version packs a 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. And because of its low-end hardware, it can be purchased with the price tag of $799, while the standard version in the market costs $999.
The cheaper Microsoft Surface Book 2 sports an Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The version with 256 GB of internal storage starts from $1499, while this one costs just $1199. It’s actually a pretty good deal since the rest of the specs of the cheaper laptops remains exactly the same as the actual versions.
