ICYMI: Samsung Officially Teases Exynos 2600

Samsung has officially confirmed the Exynos 2600, its next-generation flagship chipset, ahead of the Galaxy S26 series launch.

The company released a short teaser video highlighting features described as “refined at the core” and “optimized at every level,” opening with the tagline: “in silence, we listened.”

The Exynos 2600 is expected to be the world’s first 2nm smartphone chipset, offering a major leap in performance and energy efficiency.

Early benchmarks suggest it could compete with other 2025 flagship processors, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

However, multiple reports indicate that Samsung may limit Exynos 2600 deployment to South Korea, with most Galaxy S26 units worldwide continuing to use Snapdragon chips.

This strategy could be influenced by production constraints, as yields for the new 2nm process are still improving, and by Samsung’s agreements with Qualcomm, which reportedly require a significant portion of S26 units to use Snapdragon chips.

What do you think of the upcoming Samsung Exynos 2600?
