After reviewing the POCO F8 Pro’s overall capabilities for offering flagship-level performance at an upper midrange price, we wanted to see exactly what kind of performance the POCO F8 Pro delivers when it comes to gaming.

Let’s start with graphically demanding titles. The first one is Wuthering Waves. We played it at high resolution with a 60 FPS cap.
The gameplay experience was smooth, and the visuals were stunning. There were no stutters or frame drops during exploration or combat, which is impressive.

Timing parries and dodges was seamless thanks to the smooth performance.
There were occasional moments when other in-game assets loaded slower than usual, but this did not impact the overall gameplay experience.

Next, we tested Zenless Zone Zero, also at high graphics settings and 60 FPS.
Exploration in the overworld was smooth, with no issues in areas like Lumina Square or Failum Heights. Combat, even during visually intense moments like Shiyu defense, ran smoothly with no noticeable frame drops or stutters.

Timing dodges and parries was effortless, similar to Wuthering Waves. While I personally prefer playing ZZZ on PC, the POCO F8 Pro delivers almost identical performance.

Moving on to Genshin Impact, we tested it at the highest available settings with 60 FPS.
Exploration remained smooth with no stutters or frame drops. Combat in the overworld also maintained consistent performance. Even during Abyss floors, switching characters and activating ultimate skills caused no noticeable slowdowns.

All three of these graphically demanding games can run endgame content on this device with little to no issues.

We also tried Chaos Zero Nightmare, my current go-to game, at the highest graphics settings.
The POCO F8 Pro handled it flawlessly. Gameplay was smooth with no stutters or frame drops in any game mode.

Even after playing for more than an hour, there were no signs of overheating, which is impressive.

Now, let’s move to competitive titles, which are expected to run smoothly on this device. First up is Call of Duty Mobile.
We played with very high graphics settings and the Ultra frame rate option. As expected, the gameplay was smooth with no performance drops during gunfights.

Flick shots and precise aiming were easy to execute. For players like me who play using only their thumbs, this device offers a comfortable and responsive experience.

Next is Mobile Legends, played at maximum settings. Its performance was flawless. Even in the main menu, there were no slowdowns or frame drops.

During team fights, the device remained smooth and responsive. Honestly, I have yet to encounter a flagship device that struggles to run Mobile Legends.

Lastly, we tested League of Legends: Wild Rift, with settings maxed out. Just like Mobile Legends, this game ran smoothly with no stutters or frame drops.

Even the opening sequence played without freeze frames. Overall, the smooth performance made gameplay very enjoyable, both inside and outside of team fights.
In conclusion, the POCO F8 Pro is an excellent choice for mobile gamers. Thanks to its flagship-level chipset, it delivers impressive performance for both competitive and graphically demanding titles.
Whether you are exploring vast worlds or engaging in intense team fights, this device offers a gaming experience well worth the price.
