
HUAWEI officially launches the Mate 80 Series, which includes three devices and one of them is the Mate 80 Pro Max.
The phone features a 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED display with FHD+ resolution (2848 × 1320 pixels), 120 Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling, and a P3 wide color gamut. It’s also protected by Second Generation Kunlun Glass.

The device features a quad rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP macro telephoto camera with OIS, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS.
It supports 4x and 6.2x optical zoom, up to 12.4x optical-quality zoom, and 100x digital zoom.
On the front, there’s a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 3D depth sensing for selfies. Both front and rear cameras use Huawei’s XMAGE imaging technology and offer multiple AI-assisted photography modes.

Under the hood, the Mate 80 Pro Max is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro processor and runs on HarmonyOS 6.0. It comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage with no memory expansion.
The Mate 80 Pro Max also carries a 6000mAh battery with 100W wired SuperCharge, 80W wireless SuperCharge, and reverse charging support. It is IP68/IP69 rated for water and dust resistance.
