OPPO has officially unveiled ColorOS 16, the latest version of its mobile operating system, which will debut with the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Series.
The update focuses on three main areas: performance, AI tools, and cross-device connectivity.
ColorOS 16 introduces “Seamless Animation” powered by a new Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine, both designed to make app transitions and multitasking faster and more fluid.
The update also includes “Project Breeze,” which brings its performance even to entry-level devices.

The design has also been refreshed with a cleaner interface inspired by natural light and shadow, along with new customization options such as motion photo wallpapers and full-screen Always-On Display.
The new “Flux Home Screen” allows dynamic resizing of folders and icons for better layout flexibility.
AI tools get an upgrade with “AI Portrait Glow” for better low-light portraits, joining existing features like AI Eraser and AI Unblur. The built-in video editor, Master Cut, now includes more tools for trimming, filters, and manual adjustments.

Connectivity has also been improved with O+ Connect, which now supports both Mac and Windows PCs. Users can manage files, mirror screens, and even control their computers directly from their phones.

ColorOS 16 will launch globally alongside the OPPO Find X9 Series on October 28, 2025. Are you looking forward to it?
