TECNO officially launched the CAMON SLIM 5G in the Philippines on October 1 through “Make It Lighter: The Living Cover Runway,” a fashion-themed event that featured 15 Filipino women from different professions and backgrounds.
The event highlighted the CAMON SLIM 5G alongside Filipino fashion and personal stories. The 15 participants included celebrities, creators, entrepreneurs, working mothers, businesswomen, and community builders.
Each participant walked the runway carrying the CAMON SLIM 5G while a short narration introduced her background and her interpretation of the event’s “Make It Lighter” theme.
Among those featured were Ely Halig, Twinkle Dimayuga, Aubrey Miles, Carlyn Ocampo, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Max Collins, and Megan Young. Megan Young, actress, host, and Miss World 2013, led the finale.
The event also used Burgundy Red, one of the CAMON SLIM 5G’s color options, as its main visual theme. The runway outfits incorporated elements inspired by modern Filipiniana, with different silhouettes, fabrics, and details used for each participant.
TECNO also previewed its collaboration with artist and photographer Angélica Dass. The project focuses on Filipino working women, particularly solo mothers, and explores their experiences and identities beyond common labels. More details about the collaboration are expected to be revealed later this month.

The CAMON SLIM 5G features a 6.39mm-thin body and a 6,000mAh battery. It also comes with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera, Super-Zoom FlashSnap, and TECNO Universal Tone imaging technology.

The CAMON SLIM 5G is available for pre-order in Burgundy Red, Matisse Black, and Rebel Pink. A 3D White variant is scheduled to arrive next month.
The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at PHP 27,999 and is available through online and offline channels.
Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB model costs PHP 24,999 and is available exclusively through TikTok Shop.
