Alongside HUAWEI Mate X7, HUAWEI has officially listed the FreeClip 2, a new open-ear wireless audio wearable, globally.
The FreeClip 2 uses a 10.8 mm dual-diaphragm driver with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range.
Controls include double-tap, triple-tap, and swipe gestures, all customisable through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app.

The earbuds come equipped with multiple sensors, including infrared, Hall, gyroscope, accelerometer, bone acoustic, and touch sensors, and support call noise cancellation, adaptive volume, and multiple EQ effects. Durability is also improved with IP57 protection for the earbuds and IP54 for the charging case.
Each earbud carries a 60mAh battery, paired with a 537 mAh charging case. Wired charging via USB-C takes about 50 minutes for the case and 60 minutes for both the case and earbuds, while wireless charging takes around 150 minutes.
Battery life is rated at up to 9 hours of music playback, extending to 38 hours with the case.
Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0, with support for dual-device pairing and pop-up pairing on EMUI 10.0 devices.

HUAWEI FreeClip 2 is priced at EUR199 (approx. PHP13,799) in Europe. No word on local availability yet. Stay tuned!
