
HUAWEI has unveiled the Pura X View, a smartphone with a wider 16:9.5 aspect ratio designed to provide more horizontal screen space.
The phone features a 6.1-inch display with a 2232 × 1320 resolution, up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It also has a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio and 1.05mm bezels.
The Pura X View weighs 201 grams and measures 6.68mm thick. Inside, it packs a 7,000mAh battery.
HUAWEI says the wider screen is designed for reading, gaming, watching 16:9 videos, and viewing multiple columns of content.
The Pura X View is also the first HUAWEI phone to run HarmonyOS 7.

It comes in Leaping Shadow Red, Linen Grey, Zero Degree White, and Phantom Night Black.
The device is currently listed on HUAWEI’s China website. Pricing and availability in the Philippines have not yet been announced.
So far, the latest device launched by HUAWEI in the Philippines is the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Series, with prices starting at PHP 54,999 SRP.
