
Xiaomi recently launched the 5G version of its popular Redmi Pad Pro tablet in China. With its listing on Xiaomi’s global website, the availability of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is expected to be available in international markets shortly.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G mirrors the specifications of its Wi-Fi-only counterpart but includes the added benefit of dual SIM 5G connectivity.
The tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display can reach up to 600 nits of brightness, supports Dolby Vision, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz, the device is paired with an Adreno 710 GPU. It offers options for 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD.
Camera features include an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The tablet is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and dual microphones. The device has a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
There is still no info on whether the 5G version of the Redmi Pad Pro is coming to the Philippines.
However, the current Redmi Pad Pro is available at a special early bird price of PHP 12,799 (down from PHP 14,999 SRP) from July 5 to 11. The 8GB with 256GB variant is priced at PHP 13,799 (down from PHP 15,999 SRP).
