Samsung has introduced Flex Titanium, a new display technology that will be used in its next-generation Galaxy foldable smartphones.

The new display structure combines two titanium-based components, which are titanium-alloy film and titanium plate.
According to Samsung, the titanium-alloy film is placed beneath the OLED panel to provide support while remaining thin enough. The company says it offers higher mechanical stiffness than conventional polymer film.
Meanwhile, the titanium plate underneath the display is designed to provide more stable support when the device is unfolded while allowing the screen to withstand repeated folding.
Additionally, Samsung confirmed that Flex Titanium will debut with its next-generation Galaxy foldables.

More details are expected to be announced during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 at 9:00 PM Philippine Time.
