
nubia has officially launched a new flagship device in China, called the nubia Z80 Ultra.
Up front is a 6.85-inch BOX X10 OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color, full DCI-P3 coverage, DC dimming, 2592Hz PWM dimming, and up to 2000 nits peak brightness.


The Z80 Ultra introduces a rectangular rear camera module of 50MP 1/1.3-inch OmniVision LightMaster 990 main sensor with OIS and an f/1.5 aperture. It’s paired with a 50MP 1/1.55-inch ultra-wide lens (120° FoV, f/1.8) and a 64MP 1/2-inch periscope telephoto lens (OIS, f/2.4) with macro capability.
Apart from that, nubia also launched a Professional Photography Kit for the device, made from leather and titanium, featuring physical camera-style buttons, external lens support (T-mount), and a 67mm filter adapter ring.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The Z80 Ultra comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.


It carries a 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging, as well as reverse wireless charging.
Out of the box, it runs Android 16 with nubia’s Nebula AIOS 2 interface. The limited edition variant includes exclusive wallpapers, animations, and themes.
