Sony has officially launched the Alpha 7 V (ILCE-7V), the fifth generation of its full-frame mirrorless camera series in the Philippines.
The camera features a newly developed 33-megapixel partially stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and the updated BIONZ XR2 processor with an AI unit, improving autofocus, tracking, color accuracy, and video performance.
The ILCE-7V supports 759 phase-detection AF points, Real-time Recognition AF, and Real-time Tracking.

It can shoot up to 30 frames per second with blackout-free continuous shooting and offers 14-bit RAW capture with full AF and AE tracking.
Video capabilities include 7K oversampled 4K 60p recording in full-frame mode and 4K 120p in APS-C mode.
Sony also introduced the FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens, designed to complement the ILCE-7V with compact size, coordinated image stabilization, and up to 120 fps AF/AE tracking.

The Sony Alpha A7 V pre-order promotion runs from December 4, 2025, to January 18, 2026, at participating Sony Centres and authorized retailers.
A down payment of PHP5,000 is required to secure a unit.
