Lava has quietly released a new budget smartphone in India called the Lava Shark 2.
At the front, the Lava Shark 2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
For cameras, it offers a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Inside, it is powered by the UNISOC T7250 chipset with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and supports an additional 4GB of virtual RAM.
Out of the box, the device runs on the Android 15 operating system. Lava promises that there are no ads or bloatware as well.
The Shark 2 also carries a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging. The device is also certified IP54 dust and splash resistant.
The Lava Shark 2 is priced at INR7,500 (approx. PHP4,999). It’s available in Aurora Gold and Eclipse Gray color options.
The phone is available only through offline retail stores in India.
