
GAC Motor Philippines has officially launched the GS4 MAX HEV, a hybrid SUV.
The GS4 MAX HEV is powered by a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid engine paired with a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 2.1 kWh NCM battery. The system produces a combined output of 232 HP and 300 Nm of motor torque.
GAC claims a combined driving range of up to 1,250 kilometers on a single tank. The hybrid system supports Pure Electric, Hybrid, Direct Engine Drive, and Energy Recuperation modes.
Inside, the GS4 MAX HEV has a 2,750mm wheelbase and a 1,901mm-wide body. It comes with a panoramic glass roof, electric sunshade, rear air vents, acoustic insulation, and seats with perforated cushioning. The second-row seats can also fold flat to increase cargo space.



For safety, the SUV gets a Level 2 driver assistance system with Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Integrated Cruise Assist. It also has a Surround View Camera System and multiple airbags.
Other features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an aircraft-style gear selector, and a 50W wireless charger with a cooling fan.
The GS4 MAX HEV SUV has an SRP of PHP 1,298,000. An introductory price of PHP 1,218,000, including PHP 80,000 in savings, is available for reservations made until September 30, 2026.
