
HONOR has officially announced the Magic8 Pro Air, which is the brand’s new slim flagship, and according to the company, it is the lightest high-end HONOR smartphone to date.
It features a 6.31-inch OLED display with 1.08mm bezels on all sides. It also offers 2640 x 1216 resolution and a peak brightness of 6000 nits.
At the back, the phone uses a metallic satin-style back finish created through a multi-layer coating process. Aside from that, the frame is made of aluminum.

The camera system includes a 50MP 1/1.3-inch main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3.2x optical zoom. On the front, the device houses a punch-hole 50MP shooter.

New features include an AI-assisted flash system that adjusts output based on zoom level, and a strobe-style portrait mode aimed at low-light shooting.
Performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Battery capacity is rated at 500mAh, which supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging
Other features include IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and support for both SIM and eSIM.

And as mentioned, this device is HONOR’s lightest flagship phone, weighing 155 grams and measuring 6.1mm in thickness.

The HONOR Magic8 Pro Air is available in four configurations. Official sales begin on January 23, 2026, in China after the current pre-order period.
