Alongside the HONOR GT smartphone, HONOR has also officially launched its latest tablet in China, the HONOR Pad V9. It is packed with upgrades in specs and AI features. Check it out!
The HONOR Pad V9 sports a SGS Gold Five-Star certified metal body and available is available in Luyan Purple, Yulong Snow, and Cangshan Grey colorways. It weighs 475 grams and has a dimension of 259.1mm x 176.1mm x 6.1mm.
For specs, it features a 11.5-inch 2.8K IPS LCD panel and is IMAX Enhanced. It supports 144Hz refresh rate, 500nits brightness, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR Vivid. Its display is also TÜV Rheinland-certified with AI-powered eye comfort modes.
Powering the device is the 3.3GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition with Mali G615 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB internal storage, and a large 10,100mAh battery capacity with 66W wired fast charging support.
Camera-wise, the HONOR Pad V9 comes with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera.
It is also equipped with eight speakers with support for Spatial Audio, Hi-Res Audio, DTS:X, and AI Voice Noise Reduction.
Moreover, it runs on MagicOS 9.0 for Pad and is compatible with the Smart Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Pencil 3. AI features included are AI Note Synchronization, AI Typesetting Summary, AI Multi-Paper Comparison, AI Document Q&A, Formula Editing, Multiple Template Layouts, Multi-Task Group Switching, Flexible Multi-Window Adjustment, One-Click Content Collection, and HONOR Free Window.
Other specs include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity, and YOYO AI Assistant with YOYO Answers, HONOR Digital Human, and HONOR Magic Door.
The HONOR Pad V9 starts at CNY 2,099 (~PHP 16,977) for the base variant (8GB + 128GB) goes up to CNY 2,799 (~PHP 22,644) for the 12GB + 512GB configuration.
The accessories are priced at CNY 499 (~PHP 4,037) for the Magic Pencil 3 and CNY 449 (~PHP 3,632) for the Smart Bluetooth Keyboard.
The HONOR Pad V9 is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting December 24, 2024. No word yet for local availability, so stay tuned for more updates.
